- Procurement Analyst
Purpose of the Role :
To perform purchasing and contracting activities, manage tender process, and other procurement support within the Hu’u projects.
Accountabilities :
Ensure proper and sound financial and business evaluation of the company greenfield and brownfield projects and other projects in the APAC region to facilitate the company study decision.
The evaluation includes comprehensive identification and assessment of potential financial and tax risks, cost estimate of Capex and
Opex, so that best decision can be made on the progression of studies in the portfolio.
Responsible for ensuring capital cost and operating cost estimate are following the standard procedure and system for project planning and schedule, with proper WBS structure as stated in in SPE.
Support Project Services to lead the coordination of preparation and submission of the company study budgets.
To be part of joint team in evaluating analysis required for Term Sheet negotiation with partners for Greenfield Project developments.
Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree on Supply Chain Management/Business Administration or another related major min GPA 3.00.
Minimum 5 years of experience – preferably from mining exploration project or oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge & skill related to drilling and EPCI.
Must have good attention to details.
Familiar to work with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point and SAP system.

Purpose of the Role :

Purpose of the Role :
Performs clerical, administrative, and general office duties involving transcription, record and file maintenance, mail distribution, domestic travel reservations and telephone reception.

Answer and direct incoming calls.
Handle incoming documents and packages.
Travel arrangements, such as booking flights, transportations, and hotels reservations.

- Senior Ventilation Engineer
Purpose of the Role :
The Senior Ventilation Engineer role is responsible for undertaking mine ventilation and cooling design & planning, trade-off studies, cost estimation, technical review, and project evaluation.
Lead initiatives to optimize ventilation & cooling strategies taking into consideration the impact on production/opex/capex.
The role holder is responsible to identify and implement improvement ideas of value engineering, while ensuring the projects are delivered within the safety and quality objectives agreed for the project.
Accountabilities :
Responsible to ensure all ventilation requirements satisfy all conditions set by the relevant legislation and company standards/guidelines.
Develop business cases for ventilation related improvement projects.
Ensure project documentation such as ventilation design, technical reports, and study decision notice are received, commented, responded and incorporated in project archives.
Mitigates deliverables delays by coordinating the different tasks and establishing priorities.
Ensures measurement of progress on all contracts for reporting progress to the Mine Engineering Lead and broader team as required.
Ensures scope forecast of cost and schedule is updated as prescribed by the project requirements.
Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant study with 3.0 GPA from a possible 4.0 total GPA;
Minimum 7 years of experience – preferably in mining exploration project or oil & gas industry;

The Mine Design & Planning Principal role is responsible for coordinating the mining scope of a project or multiple projects (FEL 1 and FEL 2 studies) following Vale’s governance for Project Development, including Technical Requirements, Risk Analysis and ESG agenda.
Responsible for delivering their projects within scope, cost, and scheduled baseline. They are also responsible for managing their contracts following Vale’s procedures.
Accountabilities :
Responsible for developing optimal mine design, optimization and scheduling based on geological, geotechnical, hydrogeological, economic, social and environmental parameters using software packages.
Operating cost and Capital expenditure estimation following standardized working breakdown structure (WBS).
Comply with Vale’s Management Model, known as VPS (Vale Production System) and on Vale’s normative documents for Projects Developments and Deliverables, organized at the Engineering Standardization System (SPE)
Communicates regularly with the Project team on strategies to ensure that goals and priorities are clearly understood, and project requirements are achieved.
Lead, coordinate and monitor studies and contractors within your area to ensure project requirements are met in terms of technical quality, schedule and budget execution. Develop and implement mitigation and recovery plans for each aspect that may delay project deliverables.
Requirements :
Bachelor (or equivalent) in mining engineering
Master or Ph.D. in Mine Engineering. Chartered Professional (CP) AusIMM or other applicable professional certification is preferred
Operational experience in mining operation or infrastructure industries.
Experience working with Ni Laterites or similar open pit operation.
Extensive experience in the study, design, development and/or operation of open pit mines

Purpose of the Role:
The Geometallurgist Principal role is responsible for coordinating the geometallurgy scope considering strong interface with process engineering within a project or multiple projects (FEL 1 and FEL 2 studies) following Vale’s governance for Project Development, including Technical Requirements, Risk Analysis and ESG agenda.
Responsible for delivering their projects within scope, cost, and scheduled baseline. They are also responsible for managing their contracts following Vale’s procedures.
Accountabilities :
Develop/oversee a geometallurgy programs with geologists, mineralogists, metallurgists and technologists for FEL1 and FEL2 base metal projects, always considering detailed scope of work, scheduling and budget requirements.
Supervise/conduct metallurgical testing according to the existing standard operational flowsheet/conditions.
Work together with Mine and Process Engineers for metallurgical and flowsheet evaluation. Design new flowsheets as well as improve existing ones.
Determine metallurgical risks (impurities, poor recovery or low concentrate grades) and develop mitigating measures.
Comply with Vale’s Management Model, known as VPS (Vale Production System) and on Vale’s normative documents for Projects Developments and Deliverables, organized at the Engineering Standardization System (SPE)

Knowledge of Mineral Processing unit operation (crushing, grinding, sizing, flotation, dewatering and tailings management).
Expert knowledge of metallurgical testing (bench and miniplant scale).
Knowledge of geoestatistics and applied data analysis. Advanced knowledge on IOGAS.
Understanding of Mining engineering economics.
