Lead and coordinate review of vendors/ contractors’ work results to ensure compatibility of adjustment or changes submitted by vendor/ contractor and coordinate internally to close out of vendor/ contractor open punch list.
Provide direction to all other related departments to reduce trip occurrences related to a mechanical equipment problem.
Create or approve new designs/modifications for potential enhancement in current mechanical systems, equipment, and processes to improve plant efficiency/ reliability.
Monitor and control contracts with systems vendors to make sure services are performed as per agreement.
Evaluate the available mechanical-related spare parts to ensure compliance with the correct specification to support the maintenance of mechanical equipment or system and provide direction/strategy to the Maintenance and Operation Team in case the spare part is unavailable.
Manage mechanical and piping system vendor and contractor, as a focal point on engineering during project development, including interfacing with other engineering disciplines and other departments and approving any design changes.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must.
Minimum 10 years working experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a major company in Oil & Gas industry (Have background in operations is preferred) covering static equipment, rotating equipment, package equipment, piping, paint, insulation, safety equipment, and structural steel.
